The GreenFix Difference
"A true cultural change to golf"
· Ball Marks fully repaired in 1/3 the time
· Less prone to error in use
· Easy to use - just push
· University Studies prove the benefit
· Less root and plant damage
· Greens have less susceptibility to disease
100's of the top courses in the nation have
switched to the GreenFix System and banned
conventional long-tong divot tools. These
include Medinah Country Club, host of two
PGA championships and the 2012 Ryder Cup,
Southern Hills Country Club host of the 2007 PGA
championship, Flint Hills Golf Club, Dallas National
Golf Club, Bulle Rock Golf Club, Interlachen
Country Club and many more. These clubs have
switched and have seen the benefits first hand.
Steve Kimmel, Director of Golf at Oak Tree
Golf Club in Edmond, OK.
He has seen the ball mark count on his 13th
green, a short par 3, go down from 2,400 ball
marks to under 400 in less than six months.
"The program has definitely helped our A-4
greens recover faster."
GREENFIX
"Ball Mark Elimination System" Evolution is an ongoing process that we experience everyday.
Revolution is a much rarer event. The GreenFix Ball Mark Elimination System is just such a rare
event. The GreenFix line of divot tools is a patented method of divot tool repair. Pioneered and
championed by 35 year PGA touring pro, 5 time PGA winner, Danny Edwards, the GreenFix line is
the result of the first real scientific research done on ball mark damage and repair. To Danny Edwards
it just didn't make sense to use a long-tonged divot tool and penetrate the greens up to 2" down
to repair surface damage. He surmised that a short pronged divot tool with a depth limiting feature
that pushes the damage back into place rather than twisting, jabbing or lifting the grass would
cause less damage and result in far better greens. The results were shocking and a real wake up
call for golfers and golf courses everywhere. Three independent university studies have shown
(Kansas State, Purdue and Texas A&M) that using a conventional long-tonged divot tool caused
more damage than if you left the ball mark un-repaired and un-touched. The studies concluded
that a ball mark repaired with a conventional divot tool took an average of 38 days to fully repair.
An untouched ball mark fully repaired in 20 days. A ball mark repaired with the GreenFix Ball Mark
Elimination System was fully repaired in about 7 to 10 days. Truly an amazing difference!
